Pramod Chundry Receives the HCIM Travel Award

Pramod Chundry, an HCIM second year, has received the HCIM Travel Award in order to attend CHI 2017 in Denver, CO. The paper he is presenting, along with fellow second-year student Victoria Chang, is entitled, “Spiders in the Sky: User Perceptions of Drones, Privacy, and Security.” In the paper, Pramod and Victoria ran an experimental study with 20 laypeople to assess their current perceptions around drones. They hope this work can inform several aspects of drone-person interactions. You can get more information and read the full paper here. Congrats to Pramod!
