Networking Webinar Wednesday 2/8 5-6pm, Online. The session is called: Cultivate Your Network: How to Create, Maintain and Sustain Professional Relationships (Tracy Maleeff). This one-hour webinar explores how to hone networking as a professional skill in order to enhance your career, including techniques and strategies to network both in person and online, and how to convert an introduction into a lasting professional relationship. You can access it online via WebEx.
Portfolio Workshop Friday 2/17 4-6pm, HBK 2119. A hands-on workshop will be held to critique and refine your UX/interaction design portfolios. Please RSVP by 2/10.
Making the Most of the Career Fair Monday 2/20 3-4 pm, 3100 Hornbake South Wing. An event hosted by the University Career Center. Come learn about how to prepare for the Spring Career & Internship Fair 2017, including interacting with employers, navigating the fair, and utilizing the new Careers by Symplicity app.
Computer Science Spring Career Fair Tuesday, 2/21 4-8 pm, Riggs Alumni Center. Hosted by the Computer Science department, the Internship and Career Fair is for CS students (undergrad through PhD), and is also open to HCIM students. Please consult this important information for students. RSVP is required.
Open Source Intelligence: Does your personal online profile matter to your job search? Wednesday 2/22 4:30-5:45 pm, in the HCIL. Mary Ann Francis will discuss how professional recruiters use social media and online databases to identify and screen candidates for jobs. Through examples, you will see how recruiters and others can quickly and easily find your personal information online.
Dropbox Info Session Wednesday 2/22 5:30-7pm, University Career Center. Stop by and learn about opportunities at Dropbox, followed by a ‘cracking the code’ interview workshop where they will work through a technical interview problem & best practices. RSVP here.

iSchool Research Showcase Friday, 3/3 4:00 - 6:30 PM, Rotunda, Kim Engineering Building. This poster session features the research of PhD students, master's students, iSchool faculty, and iSchool labs and centers.
iSchool Spring Internship & Networking Fair Tuesday, 3/7 4:30 - 6:30 PM, Stamp Atrium (Room 1107). iSchool-wide event for networking with potential employers and iSchool partners. A list of employers and positions available will be added to the event page as they are confirmed. No RSVP required.
Experiential Learning Expo Tuesday, 5/16 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Colony Ballroom, Stamp Student Union. Join us for this poster session showcasing field study and capstone experiences.
iSchool Study Days Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 5/9 - 5/11 12:00 - 6:00 PM HBK 4114 (iSchool Lounge). Come study for final exams or work on class projects (or just decompress for a little bit) while enjoying free snacks and drinks!
HCIL 34th Annual Symposium Thursday, 5/25 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM, Computer Science Instructional Center (CSIC). The HCIL's 34th Annual Symposium will highlight the cutting-edge research being conducted in the Human-Computer Interaction Lab, including talks, tutorials, workshops, and demos.
