Portfolio Panel + Resume Review
The HCIM program is hosting a Portfolio Panel with Tim Summers and Liese Zahabi. This is an opportunity to find out what employers are looking for in an HCI portfolio, and ask questions about developing your own portfolios. Join us on Tuesday, March 1, from 5 – 6 PM in HBK 2116 for a panel discussion and Q&A session.
Dr. Timothy C. Summers is the Director of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Engagement for the iSchool, and is also an executive advisor and strategist in the fields of organizational design and cybersecurity. He has worked with the Department of Defense and Booz Allen Hamilton, and is the founder and CEO of Summers & Company, LLC.
Liese Zahabi is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she teaches interactive design and advanced graphic design in the Art Department. She has worked with the American Institute of Architects and North Carolina State University, among others.
Additionally, we have spaces available for one-on-one resume or portfolio review sessions with HCIM second-years and program alums. Get some individual feedback on your resume or portfolio from someone who’s successfully completed an internship in the HCIM program. There is limited space available for these resume review sessions, so they will be arranged on a first-come, first-served basis.
